Here is the best snorkeling spot of Maui. I am not sure the name of this spot. Maybe it called LaPerouse Bay, Anyway this area which is covered in rough lava is beyond Wailea and Makena beach. It was the best snorkeling spot i would say. The entrance of this place is difficult to find, it means you need to know where the entrance gate is ,it also take 30-40 minutes walk to this spot and it is very rocky. But it totally worth tho. I love this place so much. I felt sad when i knew that it was closed. It is the calm sea and beautiful coral.
